In developing countries, the healthcare system must make many improvements to meet the needs of its population. The challenges faced by respective healthcare system include insufficient funding, inadequate healthcare workforce and infrastructure, less focus on preventive health, and inequitable distribution of resources. These challenges need comprehensive policy formulation focused on increases in healthcare funding and allocation of equity-based resources.
